Dr. Severin has dedicated his career to enhancing the bond between humans and animals. Dr. Severin combines medical expertise with a heartfelt dedication to ensuring that every pet leaves the clinic feeling their best. With a focus on compassionate care and client education, he aims to empower pet owners to make informed decisions about their pets’ health. The pinnacle of his career so far has been the Covid years while helping tens of thousands of pets. In July 2021 he worked over 700 hours to ensure as many pets received the care they needed. Using this knowledge and experience Dr. Severin has now opened Pet Urgent Care in Troy, MI. When not at the clinic, Dr. Severin enjoys spending time with his own pets, who never fail to remind him of the joy and laughter that animals bring into our lives. He shares his home with a sassy orange Siberian cat and 2 very rambunctious Bernadoodles who are self-appointed protectors of the yard from all squirrels. Dr. Severin lives with his wife, 2 sons and a daughter in Royal Oak MI. In his spare time, he enjoys watching his sons play hockey, his daughter competing in dance and attending local sports events. Reading, photography and traveling are among his other hobbies. He was born in Michigan but has also lived in Pennsylvania, North Dakota, Iowa and California and recently became a dual Canadian citizen. He has visited 2/3rds of the US states, over half of our national parks and hopes to check off bucket list trips for international travel.
